PAID VACATION TIME

- Manage cradle-to-grave shipping logistics
- Vet carriers using Highway to ensure they are compliant and meet all regulations
- Manage relationships and negotiate rates with carriers, taking into consideration the customer's budget and the agency's profit margin
- Monitor the progress of shipments and update customers of any delays or additional charges
- Respond to customer inquiries concerning delivery times, tracking numbers, and other questions
- 1+ years of freight broker experience
- Familiarity with logistics software
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain management
- Proven sales skills to obtain new clients and carriers and close shipping deals
- Negotiating skills to get the best possible quotes for customers
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Accounts Payable: Process, record, and reconcile invoices, payments, and vendor accounts, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements.
- Accounts Receivable: Manage customer payments, process incoming receipts, and reconcile accounts to maintain up-to-date records.
- Billing and Invoicing: Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices, resolve billing discrepancies, and address invoice-related inquiries promptly.
- Reporting and Reconciliation: Regularly assist in account reconciliations and generate reports to support month-end closing processes.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate financial records in accounting systems while ensuring data integrity.
- College degree preferred (Accounting, Finance, or related field).

- Set up Teams meetings with sales agents, operations, and the CFO to discuss specific customers.

- Recent college graduates with a four-year bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, accounting, finance, or related field.
