    What You’ll Do: 

    • Manage cradle-to-grave shipping logistics
    • Vet carriers using Highway to ensure they are compliant and meet all regulations
    • Manage relationships and negotiate rates with carriers, taking into consideration the customer's budget and the agency's profit margin
    • Monitor the progress of shipments and update customers of any delays or additional charges
    • Respond to customer inquiries concerning delivery times, tracking numbers, and other questions

    What We Look For: 

    • 1+ years of freight broker experience
    • Familiarity with logistics software
    • Extensive knowledge of supply chain management
    • Proven sales skills to obtain new clients and carriers and close shipping deals

    • Process credit applications and set credit limits.

    • Monitor AR aging and past dues daily.
